Beads and Sequins

Description-

Inspired by the colours of Morrocco after a recent visit came this piece created out of various shades of blue merino wool, wet felted into circles onto a base of merino pre felt. The decorative pieces were added to create more colours relating to Morrocco as well as more shapes using the 'couching' method. (wool yarn with thread over stitched to keep in place).

Materials-

Shades of blue merino wool, wet felted. Wool yarn of varying colours and thread. Gold metallic thread to add sparkle and highlights. Sequins and beads giving further depth to this wall hanging in a light wood effect frame.
