Join Denise for a day of crafting and come away with a lovely piece of artwork for your home.

Wet Felted Cushion Cover - using merino wool we will use the wet felting technique (no experience required) come with a design in mine or take inspiration from reference materials here. One and a half day visit required, return date can be arranged on workshop day. Some sewing machine knowledge could be useful when completing on return visit but not necessary. All materials included.

What is wet felting:

Wet felting is the process of using a combination of friction/agitation, soap and water to make felt out of wool fibres. The hot water and soap changes the pH of the wool and allows the scales on the fibres to open up.

Knowledge of using a sewing machine is useful but not essential. No other previous experience is required!

What to bring:

This workshop runs from 10:30 to 4.30pm so be sure to bring a packed lunch. Denise will provide refreshments such as tea and coffee. All materials with be provided.

*Please note, wet felting workshops need an overnight for drying. A return visit is required, and a 1/2 day can be arranged for this.*
